Lifetime is working on an unauthorized Full House movie. Check out the news below!
On the heels of The Unauthorized Saved By The Bell Story, Lifetime has given a green light to The Unauthorized Full House Story (working title), based on the long-running Full House ’90s sitcom that made John Stamos a household name. Unauthorized Full House will look at the rise of the cast and the pressure on them to balance the idyllic family life on the show with the more complicated reality of their own lives outside the series, but it will also look at the warm bond that grew up between the cast as the show became one of America’s most beloved family sitcoms. Ron McGee (Unauthorized Saved By The Bell) will pen the script.
Full House started as a unassuming family comedy in 1987 and went on to a wildly successful 192-episode run, wrapping in 1995. It made huge stars of its cast — from Bob Saget and Dave Coulier, who were grinding away on the stand-up circuit, to Stamos breaking hearts on General Hospital and even the Olsen twins.
